Hello again.
It's been a while since I posted.

I've enjoyed the first days of spring repairing and riding my Pathracer, drinking Pimms No.1 an' been adding some great stuff to my record collection and playing 78's in public lately.

Hunting for vintage's been kinda slow, still here's some new old junk I'd like to show:

Back in the saddle, part 1.
I've been a serious bikenut for a few years now.
It's the first sunny day of the year and my daily ride, a fixed 1920's Demi-racer's rear wheel is finally falling apart.The ducttape held up for almost three weeks.
I thought it was high time to put some cycling stuff together. My late 30's Porteur bike needs just a little more work before it's good to go and then I can fix the racer again, right in time for the spring.
I'll post pics.
Meanwhile,here's a bit of kit:

There will be blood.
It's the dry season for vintage hunters, here in Holland...slim pickins.
The fleamarket stalls are empty, it's too cold.
It's the same old, same old in the antique shops.
New Year's postal rates have gone through the roof, all your online spending dough goes to the shipping fares.
Hard times for hunters, indeed.
And, after all the found stuff is repaired, oiled, polished, washed, cleaned, it's stored away, the rush fades away quickly.
You HAVE to go hunting again! Times like these make me feel like a tiger in a cage...
