Early 1900 pantaloons, "Mode de Paris" , c.d.p." Boxer Patent" from Clignancourt fleamarket, jetons de bal-bon pour une danse, Boyards Caporals, Douk Douk, flat cap. Add shirt and neckkerchief.
Now I really need to learn the Apache-dance!
the douk douk is a nice touch totally in sync with the batdaf/biribi flavor.and i thought i was the only guy left who carries one in my pocket everyday
The Douk douk's a standard piece of kit for the Dutch vintage/workwear affictionados. All three of us! Found an old one, sans the Made in France on the blade, in Orleans some years ago, passed it on to friend, I felt lost and even dreamt about it... Had another one within a week. Essential piece of kit.
Thanks Big M.! I'm a big Francophile,it's the biggest fleamarket in the world! My parents live in Flayosc, in the Var region. My french is so-so, can't write it but I understand most of you Frenchies' posts. Can't read Celine, I can hum along with Charles Trenet.
Formidable !!!! Mentionned Céline ! You make my day !!
Even for Frenchs, Céline is difficult to read. Our dear Doctor hate syntax !!! I'm always asking myself how it's possible to traduce his books ???
Flayosc ! My mother lives in Trans en Provence at 4 kilometers from Flayosc. I spend all my secondary school in Saint-Raphaël. Nice place for retired people. Old peoples means old things to buy on fleamarket too :)
Et ben mon coco tu m'as Gâté !!!!! THANKS A LOT MOSE FOR YOUR MUSIC AND PICS…I LOVE YOUR APACHE DAM STYLE… VILBO IS REALLY TOUCHED BY THIS ATTENTION !!!!! APACHLY…FCC VILBO…
